Lonnie Ray Pethtel

Lonnie Ray Pethtel 78, of Irish Ridge, Cameron, W.V. passed away Wednesday April 20, 2022 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital. He was born September 30, 1943 in Akron, Ohio son of the late Lonnie Sr. and Clara Brady Pethtel. Lonnie retired from U.M.W.A. Local 1638 McElroy Mine. A lifetime member of Viola Sportsman Club and loved riding his Harley Davidson. Preceded in death by his wife, Arla Long Pethtel, infant daughter, Donnavia, son, Linnie, granddaughter, Jessica, sisters, Linda Holland and Barbara Thompson. Survived by girlfriend, Mary Taylor of Moundsville, WV; daughters, Rheba (Pete) Dinardi of Moundsville, WV, Mary Chaplin (Mike Phillips) of Glen Easton, WV; son, Jason (Kim) Pethtel of Moundsville, WV; sister, Terry Smith of Zellwood, Fl.; brothers, Carley (Rebecca) Pethtel of Zellwood Fl. and Allen Pethtel of Moundsville, WV; grandchildren, Casey, Bethany, Jacob, Stephanie, Justine, Keirstin; great grandchildren, Arlina, Sullivan and Noah and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Friday April 22, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, WV where services will be held Saturday April 23, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Ron Williams officiating. Burial at Jolliffe Cemetery, Wetzel County.
