Millard Junior Adkins

Millard "Jr," Wayne Adkins 84, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Monday August 4, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 21, 1941 in Cuzzie, W.V. son of the late Millard and Dorothy (Skeens) Adkins.

He was a long-time resident of Moundsville and a devout Christian, Junior spent time in the Army in the Artillery Field, drove truck across the country for a short time and dump trucks for Klug's in Moundsville, then finally retired. Jr. enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and attended church as much as he could. 

Preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Garnet, Norman Dean, Lucille Dial and Darlene Dyer and son, James "Jimbo" Adkins.

Survived by his loving wife, Clarice Van Scyoc Adkins, his children, Joanna (Danny) Johnson, son Jerry (Kealy) Adkins, son, Jack (Marti) Adkins, and daughter, Jodi (Troy) Mackey, numerous grandkids and great grandkids. Visitation will be held Friday August 8, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday Aug. 9, from noon till services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor James Tasker officiating at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V.  Interment at the convenience of the family. Immediately following services family will have food and fellowship at the Adkins residence.
