Mona (Cox) Whipkey

Mona Jean Whipkey 89 of Cameron, WV passed away Wednesday May 11, 2022 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital. She was born January 21, 1933 in Silver Hill, W.V. daughter of the late David H, and Rose Haught Cox. She was a cashier for Kroger Co. for over 57 years. A Baptist by Faith. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gaylord Andrew Whipkey, five brothers and sisters. Survived by one son, Garry (Sharon) Whipkey of Cameron, WV; one sister, Daisy (Raymond) "Bill" Harrell of Charleston, S,C, three brothers, Jack (Anna Lee) Cox of Paden City, W.V. Frances "Tiffy" (Louise) Cox of Glen Dale, W.V. and Harold (Donna) Cox of Wheeling, W.V. and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday May 13, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. officiating Pastor Diane Andrea Availa at the Anderson Funeral home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V.
