Norma "Sissy" Foster


Norma Elizabeth "Sissy" Ott Foster passed away Sunday August 21, 2022 in the home of her son Pete surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 7, 1929 in Moundsville, WV daughter of the late James C, and Goldie May Loy Ott. She was a retired employee of Reynolds Memorial Hospital as a cook. She Loved animals with a passion, fed the deer, racoons, cats and any stray who happened to show up on her porch. She was an avid sports fan, loved her Steelers and Pirates. She loved her Tom's Run neighbors and worried about each and every one of them. She loved cooking Sunday dinners for her family and did so into her 90's. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hubert L, "Red" Foster, infant sons, Jerry and James Randall "Jr". She was the last of her siblings who included James "Mickey, " Norval, Frank, Francis, Carl, Robert, Victor and one sister, Wanda Lee Richmond. Survived by two sons, Harvey Gary (Carolyn) Foster, Larry Hubert "Pete" (Catherine "Kitty") Foster, all of Moundsville, WV; seven grandchildren, Brice Foster, Kimberly (Scott) Rectenwald, Gretchen (Sam) Wojtaszek, Katrina (Andy) Fuller, Jennifer Crow, Emily (Greg) Leach and Benjamin Bonar (Jessica): 18 great-grandchildren, Chloe Isabella Foster, Zachary Michael Crow, Tyler Justin Crow, Libby Caroline Wojtaszek, Olivia Rose Bonar, Ellie McKinley Bonar, Tyce Anthony Rectenwald, Caleb Andrew Fuller, Brayden Andrew Crow, Eden Clair Wojtaszek, Maddox Harvey Rectenwald, Cruz Hudson Rectenwald, Catherine Mabel Fuller "Katie", Penelope Dale Bonar, Kayla Marie Fuller, Cecilia Lane Leach "Cece", Ezekiel Curtis Leach "Zeke," Rozlynn Fern Bonar; special thanks to her niece, Ginny Glendenning for the loving care she showed to her Aunt Sissy, also to her brother-in-law Bill (Dollie) Foster for always being there for her. She will be deeply missed by All. Family will receive friends Thursday August 25, 2022 at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, WV from 3 until time of services at 5p.m. with brother, John Miller officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family.
