Pennie Joyce Henry

Pennie J. Henry 72, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Saturday June 21, 2025. She was born February 26, 1953, in Glen Dale, W.V. daughter of the late Bruce and Elsie Mae Games Henry. 

Pennie was a foster parent most of her adult life, demonstrating remarkable compassion and kindness towards those in need. She was also a talented baker and cherished moments with her family. Her commitment to her Baptist faith was inspiring.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Shannon Stevey Gilbert of Fla; one sister, Deborah Howe, five brothers, Bruce (Rita) Henry, Arthur (Barb) Henry, David (Amy) Henry, Dan (Melinda) Stevey and Archie (Sabrina) Stevey all of Moundsville, W.V.  three granddaughters, Laken Ball (Grahamm) Dauch, Kaitlyn Jackson, and Makenna Jackson (Victor) Pena; two great grandsons, Granger and Elias and several nieces and nephews and some cousins. 

Family will receive friends Friday June 27, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Larry Jenkins officiating, at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V.  Interment in Riverview Cemetery.
