Rebecca Patterson

Rebecca J. Patterson, of Buckhannon, WV passed away peacefully at Trinity Medical Center

on December 14, 2023. Rebecca was born on November 18, 1962 to Morgan Ancil Patterson

and Virginia Florence (Bender) Patterson. For most of her adult life, Rebecca was cared for by

the kind and loving staff of Stanton Home in Steubenville, Ohio where she resided.

There she was surrounded by many friends and companions. She enjoyed listening to Michael

Jackson and dancing with her friends. Rebecca also enjoyed collecting Barbie dolls and dressing

up like a princess. She attended lots a fun day center for several years and also attended Jefferson County training center. Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Morgan Ancil Patterson, her mother, Virginia Florence (Bender) Patterson, one brother Gary Lynn Patterson, one nephew John Morgan Smith, two nieces Jessica Cosner and Jasmine Zickefoose. Rebecca is survived by six siblings, Karen (Mike) Woofter, Kim (Victor) Cross, Randell Patterson, Roberta (Ed, deceased) Woody, Sherri (Tom) Casto and Darla Cosner, also survived by several nieces and nephews: two great nephews and one great niece. Family will receive friends Monday December 18, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, WV;.  A private graveside service will be held in Highland Cemetery, Cameron, WV.
