Robert Malson

Robert Lee "Bob" Malson, 91, of Moundsville, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021. Bob was born December 6, 1929 in Moundsville, WV the son of the late Samuel M. and Anna Minyo Malson. Bob retired from Solvay/Allied Chemical. He was an Army veteran, a member of the American Legion and a member of the First Christian Church. Bob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved gardening, photography, he was a meticulous craftman and mechanic and loved spending time with his family. Preceded in death by a son, Kerry Lee Malson. Survived by the love of his life, his wife of almost 72 years, Janis Ree Rosenmerkel Malson; a daughter, Janet Lynn (Eugene) Alderman; two granddaughters, Stephanie Lynn Malson-Hewitt and Ashley Rew (Jared) Karl; and a great-granddaughter, Tessa Leigh Hewitt. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Wounded Warrior Project. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
