Ronda Lynn Jackley-Rutan, 64, of Moundsville, W.Va. passed away in Wheeling Hospital on September 13, 2025. She was born August 29, 1961, in Wheeling, W.Va. Ronda grew up in Cameron, WV and graduated from Cameron High School in 1979. Ronda was a proud and loving wife, mother, sister, and a friend to everyone in her life. Throughout life's battles and challenges, she remained one of the strongest, kindest souls to ever grace this earth. Her strength was unmatched and her ability to love knew no bounds-whether it was her family, her friends or even animals.

Ronda's heart was always open and could be described as a true gift to this world. She was a woman of quick wit, feisty spirit and a sharp sense of humor. She had an effortless way of making everyone around her feel protected, her love left a lasting mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. At 14 years old, Ronda attended the Barbizon School of Modeling in New York City, a testament to her fun-loving and fearless spirit. She spent much of her life appreciating the thrills the world had to offer; mud bogging and four-wheeling, dancing, equestrian work and even bartending. She lived her life with a passion for adventure and creating memories to last a lifetime. Ronda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Betty (Richmond) Jackley, her brother, Gene (Charlotte) Jackley.

She is survived by her loving husband, Steven Rutan; her children, Corbin Clark (Adrianna and Julianna), Cheyenne (Paul) Douglass, Shayla (Sonny) McDiffitt and their children, Ryder and Boone Rutan and BreAnna McDiffitt; her sister, Deb (Chris) Richardson and children, Dolf and Dillion Richardson; niece,  Holly Jackley and children, Sadie and Hunter Hobbs; and her loving dog, Daisy, as well as many cousins and dear friends.  Though the world shines a bit dimmer without her, Ronda's legacy of love strength and kindness will continue to live in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She was truly a gift from God, and her memory will be cherished forever.

A Celebration of Life to honor Ronda will be held Friday September 19, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. with Pastor Randy Richardson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has requests donation be made to the Marshall County Animal Shelter where Ronda was a proud supporter for many years.
