Rosalee McDowell

Rosalee Mearl McDowell 87, of Moundsville, WV passed away Sunday December 3, 2023. She was born June 19, 1936, in B&B West Virginia daughter of the late Earl and Annie Martin Blake. Preceded in death by her husband, James McDowell, sisters, Ruth and Helen Pratt and brothers, Bob, Herbert, and grandson, Mathew J. McDowell. Survived by one daughter, Charlott Szafran, two sons, Richard McDowell and Dennis (Christy) McDowell; one sister, Shirley Greathouse, four brothers, Elwood Blake, Terry (Barb) Blake, Larry Blake and Donald Blake; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday December 5, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, WV where services will be held Wednesday December 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Doug Richardson officiating. Interment will follow to Pleasant Ridge Cemetery on Valley Run, Marshall County.
