Sarah "Jean" Chambers

Sarah “Jean” Fair Chambers, 101 of Cameron, WV passed away September 9th, 2023, in Cameron Health Care Center. She was born March 7, 1922, in Cameron, WV daughter of the late Roscoe & Sarah Lyon Fair. A faithful member of Cameron First Christian Church. A member of the Cameron Legion Auxiliary Unit # 18 for 75 years, holding the office of Treasurer until the age of 100. Past President of Cameron Senior Citizens. Retired from H&H Market. Preceded in death by her husband, Byron Chambers in 1983 her brother Gibson Fair, two sisters, Ruth Stern, and Martha Taylor. Survived by her daughter, Lisa, Warren of Cameron, two grandsons, Mathew Chambers of Wheeling and Timothy Warren of Cameron, one sister Flossie Hudson of Ashtabula, Ohio, several nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Life for Jean at a later date. Interment at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Cameron Senior Center or First Christian Church of Cameron.
