Sharon Hartwell

Sharon Ann Downs Hartwell 78, of Middlebourne, W.V. went to be with the Lord on Friday March 19, 2021. She was born February 11, 1943 in Sharpe, Kentucky daughter of the late Herbert and Pauline Allen Downs. She was proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also had a love for her hummingbirds and was a avid bowler and a member of the Moundsville Cruise Car Club. She married the love of her life William "Bill" Eugene Hartwell on February 24, 1959. She was a very loving wife, mother to six children, Teresa Davies (Jack) of St Mary's, WV; Bill Hartwell (Becky) of Jane Lew, WV; Sandra Blanchard (John) & Deborah Hamrick (Buddy) all of Clarksburg, WV; Robert Hartwell, who is with the Lord and Marilyn Campbell (Scott) of Alma, WV; A grandma to 12 grandkids and many great-grandkids. The family would like to extend a thank-you to Journey Hospice. There will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
