Richard Gorby

Richard Gorby, 78, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was born May 2, 1943, in Glen Dale, WV. He was the son of the late Richard and Agnes Roso Gorby. He was a member of the Moundsville American Legion Post #3 and a veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from Consol Coal Company. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sandra Knight Gorby. He is survived by one daughter, Amanda (Larry) Hill of Moundsville, WV; one son, Richard (Jessie) Gorby of Pittsburgh, PA; one brother, George (Gloria) Gorby of Florida; four grandchildren, Allie (Adam) Estel, Ashley, Lindsy and Hailey Hill and one great-granddaughter Adeline Estel. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m., at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St, Moundsville, WV. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, Sherrard WV.
